GSTR-2B Rate-wise Downloader helps Chartered Accountants and accountants generate exact rate-wise GSTR-2B ITC Excel reports from the official Indian GST portal (gst.gov.in).

2. Data the extension accesses

The extension reads GSTR-2B data (invoices, GST rates, taxable values) from GST portal pages that you are already viewing in your own browser. This data belongs to you.

3. Where your data goes

Nowhere. All processing happens locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store on any server, sell, or share your GST data with anyone. The generated Excel report is saved directly to your device via the browser download function.

4. Data stored on your device

Using the browser's local storage, the extension saves only:

Your license key and device ID (for license verification)
Extension settings (selected financial year, quarter)

This data never leaves your device.

5. Permissions — why we need them

storage: Save license key and settings locally.
tabs: Identify the active GST portal tab.
scripting: Run automation on GST portal pages you initiate.
downloads: Save the generated Excel report to your device.
webRequest: Detect when GST portal data has fully loaded.
Host permission (gst.gov.in): Operate only on the official GST portal.

6. Third parties

We do not share data with any third party. There are no analytics, trackers, or advertising SDKs in this extension.
