Bank PDF Converter is a data-entry tool. It reads what is printed on your statement and reshapes it into another file format. It does not give accounting, tax, financial or legal advice.

Not professional advice

Everything on this site — the converter, the guides and the summaries on the review screen — is provided for general information and for speeding up manual data entry. It is not accounting advice, tax advice, financial advice or legal advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Decisions about how a transaction should be recorded, which ledger it belongs to, or how an amount should be treated in a tax return are yours to make, ideally with a qualified chartered accountant or tax professional.

Verify every figure

Automated extraction can be wrong. Bank statement layouts differ from bank to bank and change without notice; scanned pages, faint print and phone photographs can be misread; and unusual narration formats can confuse the parser. Before you rely on any converted file:

The balance-verification built into the tool is a strong check, not a guarantee. Where the tool cannot reconcile a row it tells you so rather than hiding it — please act on those warnings.

Tax and ITR figures

The review screen can total items an income tax return often needs from a bank account — interest credited, TDS deducted by the bank, bank charges and GST, cash deposited or withdrawn. These are readings of your statement offered to save typing. They are not a computation of your taxable income, they may not match Form 26AS or the AIS, and they take no account of anything outside the statement you uploaded. Any threshold mentioned in the interface (for example cash-transaction limits) is a reminder to look something up, not a determination that it applies to you. Always confirm final figures with your books and your tax professional before filing.

Software and bank names

TallyPrime, Busy, Marg, Vyapar, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, MYOB, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, ERPNext and every other product named on this site are trademarks of their respective owners, as are all bank names and logos. Import behaviour in third-party software can change with a new version, and we cannot be responsible for what another program does with a file after you import it. Take a backup of your company data before any bulk import.

Availability and results

The site is offered free of charge with no guarantee of availability, no guarantee that a particular bank or format is supported, and no guarantee of any particular extraction accuracy. Features may change or be withdrawn.

In one sentence: use the output as a fast first draft of your data entry, then check it the way you would check a junior's work before it goes into your books.
